Well, down another day...Getting very close! I voiced some fears in PAO face book group and that group has so many wonderful women in there with so much insight and experience. Another day with pain! I am growing tired of it. I got my leave of absence papers today from my company and if anyone needs to apply for LOA I suggest you do it early. No one in my company suggested I get on the ball. I suddenly thought it was a good idea to call and ask if there was anything I was supposed to do and yep, there was. I was supposed to apply with 30 days in advance and get my surgeon to fill out and sign a few pages and send it in. I will have to have Downer fill out on 12/14 and send it in. I also have to do the same to get my short term disability pay in order to collect a pay check. I really hope they get it and approve everything asap so I don't have to suffer with a gap in pay until the short term kicks in which is usually a week after I apply and become disabled. I have enough leave balance of vacation and sick time so that should be fine. I just hope with the holidays and all they don't take too long...I may have to send 2 or 3 day priority to make sure it gets there quick. Talk about stressful!! Crossing my fingers!!
