Ok so I am not sure which is the culprit but I am happy and feeling good about it. I have been pain free for 6 days without pain medicine or other. I have been changing the way I walk, stand, sit, bend, squat, etc. Whenever I do anything I am putting my weight on my left leg and all the effort goes to that leg. I also have been not leaning on my right side (dysplastic side) when turning or doing anything else and I have noticed a decrease in inflammation in that area and I have not felt any symptoms of my hip issues. SI pain, sciatica, knee pain, achy, lots of pain etc. At the same time I have lost a little weight. Here's the break down:
START DATE: 7/12 START WEIGHT 264 LOSS:
9/6 Nutrition appt 257 7
9/10 Start Phen 254 10
9/11 253.5 10.5
9/12 248.1 15.9
9/20 245.8 18.2
So I am pretty stoked about my progress and excited about what more I can see. I felt like I was in a plateau even though I dont know if you can be in one only a week after starting something new like phentermine. any way today I saw 3 lbs down so I was happy. Though even more than weight, I have seen a huge amount of change in my body. I think I will make an appointment with my personal trainer and see how many inches I have lost. I was a size 24, and now in between 20-22. I went in to a thrift store to get some work pants since I refuse to spend too much money on some clothes I will grow out of quick ;) and I decided to be adventurous and try on a 16! Well it turns out my legs fit a 16 but my tummy is almost there. :) I almost closed the button!! Wow small feats huh? Well I am happy!
Also, I found out my surgery will be at Swedish Hospital and that sounds wonderful!
